Ingredients
 
 

  • 125 g butter room temperature
  • 125 g sugar
  • 150 g all-purpose flour or cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 apples
  • 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
  • powdered sugar
Makes: 9inch round

Instructions
 

  • Beat the eggs with the sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt for at least 2 minutes until foamy. Mix in the butter.
    125 g sugar, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, 3 eggs, 1 pinch of salt, 125 g butter
  • Briefly stir in the flour, cinnamon and baking powder.
    150 g all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Butter a 9 inch or 10 inch round springform cake pan and put the dough into it.
  • Peel the apples, cut them into quarters and spread them evenly over the dough.

  • Bake the apple pie for 25-30 minutes at 200 ℃ (390 ℉). Sprinkle with powdered sugar after it has cooled.
